Unified Valve Group is currently looking for an API/ANSI Foreman for our service division based out of our Fort St John office. The API/ANSI Foreman role is to coordinate API/ANSI jobs and manpower to ensure that our customer needs are met and to ensure resource requirements for the crews are maintained.
If you are a self-starter that enjoys keeping busy, and being challenged, this may be the role for you! This position is for temporary seasonal work with the potential of becoming full time permanent.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that the field service truck is clean, maintained and supplied with all required items for each job
- Maintain Quality, Training and Safety records for the employees
- Ensure all safety procedures and activities are adhered to by all the operations personnel
- Maintaining Driver Logbooks
- To provide adequate resources for Operations to meet the objectives of the Quality System and Safety Program
- Ensure Safety records are completed and sent to the Branch Manager and Director Quality and Safety when required
- Ensure that before work begins, documented, detailed pre- job (tailgate) meetings are conducted and documentation is maintained
- Prepare and maintain Operational & Quality System records including calibration and maintenance records
- Ensure that customer Quality and Safety requirements are met
- Purchase parts and supplies for each job as required
- Ensure inventory is maintained and submitted to the Branch Manager each month
- Adherence to Unified Valve Group’s Safety Policies and Procedures
Requirements:
- API/ANSI experience
- Strong technical knowledge
- Technical certificate an asset
- Strong problem-solving ability with minimal supervision
- Exceptional communicator and customer service oriented with good interpersonal skills
- Proven attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills and ability to prioritize effectively
- Must be a team player who is willing to wear many hats and help where needed
- Strong Microsoft Office skills are required, experience with Great Plains and ValveTek would be an asset
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis. Must be able to frequently stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms and stoop
- Ability to read and write clearly
