Description

General Labourer

Unified Valve Group is currently looking for a General Labourer for our team in Grande Prairie. If you are a self-starter that enjoys keeping busy, being challenged and having opportunity for growth, this may be the role for you! This position is temporary fulltime work.

Responsibilities:

  • General shop work - disassembling and cleaning of valves, painting and packaging for shipping 
  • General shop maintenance
  • Adherence to Unified Valve Group’s Safety  Policies and Procedures 

Requirements:

  • No experience needed. Training will be provided.
  • Pressurized equipment experience an asset
  • Technical certificate an asset
  • Ability to use basic hand tools safely
  • Strong problem-solving ability with minimal supervision
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis. Must be able to frequently stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms and stoop
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as alone with minimal supervision
  • Ability to read and write clearly
  • Must be able to work long hours and possible weekends
  • Must be able to pass a Pre-Employment Drug Test
