Description

On-Site Foreman

Unified Valve Group is currently looking for an On-Site Foreman for our On-Site division. The On-Site Foreman role is to execute On-Site jobs and manpower to ensure that our customer needs are met and to ensure resource requirements for the On-Site crews are maintained. The position reports directly to the On-Site Coordinator.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that the On-Site units are clean, maintained.
  • Preplanning field jobs including sourcing parts and supplies.
  • Maintain QC, Training and Safety records for the On-Site employees and equipment.
  • Ensure all safety procedures and activities are adhered to by all the operations personnel.
  • Maintaining digital Driver Logbooks (GEOTAB).
  • To meet the objectives of the Quality System and Safety Program including submitting the documents associated on a monthly basis.
  • Participating in daily site safety meetings and tailgate meetings as well as hosting your own for your crew.
  • Ensure that customer Quality and Safety requirements are met.
  • Ensure inventory is maintained and accurate.
  • Prepare work tickets, pricing and finalizing all orders.
  • Adherence to Unified Valve Group Safety Policies and Procedures.
  • Responsible for submitting hours, approving holidays and hiring/firing of crew members.

Requirements

  • PRV/PSV experience.
  • Strong technical knowledge.
  • Technical certificate an asset.
  • Strong problem-solving ability with minimal supervision.
  • Class 1 drivers license would be an asset but not required.
  • Exceptional communicator and customer service oriented with good interpersonal skills.
  • Proven attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills and ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Must be a team player which is willing to wear many hats and help where needed.
  • Strong computer skills and Microsoft Office skills are required, experience with Great Plains and ValveTek would be an asset.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis. Must be able to frequently stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms and stoop. 
  • Ability to read and write clearly.
  • Needs to be able to make quick decisions on the fly to keep operations running smoothly.
  • Needs to be able to work well with other departments to achieve target goals.
  • Needs to promote positivity 24/7 towards customers and staff.
  • Must be willing to travel.
