Class 1 Driver

Unified Valve Group is currently seeking a Class 1 driver to maintain our Unified owned tractor trailer units and transport to/from our project locations.  This position will have minimal overnight stay with competitive hourly base compensation - plus bonus eligibility. We will also be offering the flexibility of part time or fulltime preference outside of scheduled logistics and just in time mobilization bookings.  Benefits will be offered alongside an RSP contribution program.  If you are a self-starter that enjoys keeping busy while having flexibility of work/life balance, this may be the role for you!

Responsibilities and Requirements:

• Class 1 license and clean drivers abstract
• Minimum 3 years class 1 hauling experience is preferred
• Responsible for the Unified Valve Group owned equipment while in your care (tractor(s) and trailer(s))
• Responsible for pre-trip inspection of Unified Valve Group equipment to ensure it is in proper operating condition, fueled and ready for mobilization
• Completion of required paperwork (logbooks, fuel log, pre-trip inspection checklist, etc.)
• Work in a safe and efficient manner while complying with all OH&S/UVG Health and Safety policies

• Must have good communication and customer service skills
• Must have solid time management skills and professional appearance
• Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19
• A&D/fitness testing (Unified Valve Group will coordinate and pay for this prequalification testing prior to start date. Passing results will only be considered)
